It works just like the rest of the Just4U program- uploading prices to your card, so you must log-in on Wednesdays to check out the price matches for the week since that is when the other stores (Foodland and Times Supermarket) sales start.
Keep an eye on quantity and sizes of items for the right price to work. They also note their substitutes so you can get the right items.
In most cases they match their prices, but in others, they beat them! They'll also let you know if their price already beat the competitor.

I live on Maui and when I visit the Safeway website, it says the price matching is only good on Oahu. Bummer!
Did you change your zip code so you could get the price match on a different island? I would love to use this feature of the website, but it looks like I'll probably have to wait until they open it up to Maui residents.

I live on Oahu, but pretty far from a Safeway store, so I changed it to a closer one. I hope they open it to the rest of Hawaii soon!
