Savings Saturday, use those eCoupons!

Had a fun time at Safeway- it's fun when you pay $38.89 for 22 items (including eggs- free, a 5 lb bag of potatoes- free and a bag of clementines) and save $67.15!

When uploading eCoupons, make sure to read any specific instructions- all companies are different.  You only have to buy 1 of the Betty Crocker products to activate the eCoupons, but for Pillsbury it says to buy two- variety doesn't have to be the same (i.e. cinnamon roll and orange roll both count under the sweet roll category)

This is an example from my purchase today.  Shortcuts.com sends me a statement after each time I shop and redeem their eCoupons.  Today I got $6.10 off from this site alone.

Purchased 1 cookie mix for $2.50 and got an additional $.40 off plus this site:

Betty Crocker® Cookie Mix
=.90 cookie mix

Purchased 1 frosting for $1.99 and got an additional $3 off on top of this:

$0.50
Betty Crocker Frosting

$0.50
Betty Crocker® Frosting
=$2.01 profit on frosting (could have got another one and considered it free, but the overage went toward other products instead)

My other awesome deal was at Walgreens (Wags)- in the paper there was a "buy 1 Olay body wash, get 1 Olay lotion free" coupon and it expires soon, so I checked out the prices, the lotion cost more than the body wash!
